We have missed you St. Thomas! We look forward to seeing you in person for worshp beginning Sunday, June 6, 2021 at 11 AM when we begin to transition to a hybrid model of ministry that offers both virtual and in-person gatherings. We will continue with this pattern of worship until we add the second service on Sunday, June 27 at 9 AM, when both services will be available in-person and live-stream.
Until then, please join us for livestream worship at both 9 AM and 11:00 AM through Facebook and on our website. We offer this model to accommodate everyone's comfort level as we seek to "return to normal"!
Below is a quick overview of the ways we are currently doing church:
To participate in ANY worship gathering, event or small group physically held at St. Thomas UMC, every person must complete the health form (link below) in advance of the gathering. This form is good for one week from the time it is completed. This means that if a person is participating in multiple gatherings within that week time frame, only one form must be completed (i.e worship on Sunday, committee meeting on Tuesday). This is the preferred method as it allows sufficient time for planning for everyone's safety.
Walk-ins on the day of an event may use the Entryway Health Acknowledgement process. An entryway version of the Health Acknowledgement Form will be displayed as a large poster and posted at the main entrance for each in-person gathering. Persons entering must read the form, acknowledge that they can affirm ‘yes’ to all of the statements on it to a volunteer posted at the entry, and provide their name and contact information, which the volunteer will record and the church will keep. Persons will wait in line and remain socially distanced during this entry process. Persons who cannot affirm ‘yes’ to all the statements on the form will not be able to enter.

Currently, we are in the process of slowly reopening our church building to the general public for small mid-week groups, other ministry activities, and worship up to 50 people per service on Sundays. The Sunbeam Children's Center (first floor only) remains open for childcare of essential personnel only. The Food Pantry building is also operational for essential personnel and volunteers throughout the week and on Saturday mornings. Please click on the link below to learn more about our reopening plan and recovery efforts as we move towards our new normal.
