Sunday School Classes

crossJohn 15:5 says that "If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." One excellent way to futher that is through fellowship and study with others of God's word. Both campuses offer a variety of bible study and small group opportunities.

Heroes of Our Faith (Hybrid Options)

Abraham and Sarah. Noah. Rahab. Hebrews 11 gives us a list of role models: ordinary people who trusted God in radical ways. These eight studies on the heroes of faith from Hebrews will encourage you, inspire you and help deepen your own trust in our great God who still keeps all his promises, so that you might live out your faith in radical ways today.

The Book of James Study (Hybrid)

James was initially written by James, the brother of Jesus, and addressed to Christian Jews.  It only has 5 chapters but each chapter has powerful lessons to be learned.   The letter reads like a collection of Christian Proverbs or Post-a-notes.  The well knows paraphrased saying "Faith without works is dead"  comes from James.  In other words Christianity is more than a way of speaking and thinking - it is a way of  living.   We will be doing an in depth study of the book of James.  Come join us in our lively discussion as we study and learn from James.  No matter of your level of the Bible or where you are in your Christian walk we are all learning.

Study of 1 & 2 Peter plus Jude (Hybrid

How does a Christian behave when surrounded by a hostile world that doesn't understand who we are or why we do what we do? In three letters, Peter and Jude provide some answers: Abandon the old pagan ways. Learn the new habit of love. Put on the mental armor that will make you strong to face suffering that may come. These nine studies from Tom Wright show you the wisdom of their words for us today and remind you, in the midst of hardship, that the God who deserves all praise is still "the one who is able to keep you standing upright."

This study is from the N. T. Wright For Everyone Bible Study series..
