Men's Ministry

Men are actively involved in all areas of ministry at St. Thomas!  Here are some of the primary ways men are connected with one another:

SATURDAY MORNING MEN'S GROUP

This group meets every Saturday morning in the Children's Worship Center.  First, the men gather for breakfast -- donuts, bagels, bananas, juice and coffee.  A devotion is offered with lively discussion; often the group will sing together.  here is a lot of laughter and fun.  It is a time to be refreshed before the weekend activities begin.  The group is very informal and no two Saturdays are alike.  We are here to encourage and support, and to walk side by side with each other.   Communion is offered quarterly.

Room 300 Saturdays 8 - 9 am | Currently, the men are meeting both in person and virtually on Zoom from 8:00 - 9:00 am.  Please email either leader below for more information on how to participate.

Other Key Ways Men Are Connected Through Service

  • Food Pantry -- many men help pick up food at a variety of area grocery stores and serve throughout the week and on Saturdays in our Food Pantry.

  • Mission Teams -- If you like tools and enjoy building projects, there are a number of mission teams both local and overseas each year.

  • Lawn Team -- Most Fridays during the warm months, a group of 8 to 12 of our retired men gather to mow the lawn.  If you are interested in joining the team, please speak with trustees, Will Ameen or Don Rickerson.
