UnTrim A Tree and A Senior Christmas: Help to make others happy on Christmas. Our Untrim A Tree and Senior Christmas trees will be in the Social Hall on Sunday, November 24 with all of the tags for the children we support from Social Services and the permanent resident seniors from Manassas Health and Rehab. Choose a tag or two and bring your wrapped gift and put under the Christmas tree by Sunday December 8th. The seniors ask that you use gift bags as it is easier for them to open. Family Advent Night: Sunday, December 1st, 5 pm. This multi-generational event from 5 - 7 pm is designed to help us have a more meaningful Advent and provide tools needed to connect our home and faith more deeply. The event includes dinner, making an Advent wreath, with live greens, crafts and worship service.
Children's Christmas Drama: Sunday, December 22nd during 9:40 service. Calling all children, 1st thru 5th grade, to participate in our children's Christmas drama with music. Choir rehearsals are Tuesdays, 6 - 6:45pm in the choir room.

Tuesday Night Dinner New “Pilot Program” for Kid’s Dine-in Meals: Along with our regular menu, we will also have a kid’s dine-in entree which includes one of the regular menu sides and the dessert. Kids 5 years and under who select the kid’s dine- in entree, eat free with a paying adult, and kids 6-8 years who select the kid’s dine-in entree eat for $3.00 with a paying adult.
New Communications Request Form: St Thomas’ Communication Committee has created a Communications Request Form, accessible through the website, that is a one-stop shop for submitting a request for announcements in newsletters, on Facebook, in the weekly bulletins and more. This allows the same information to be shared in multiple places and saves you from having to alert multiple staff and lay leaders. D.C. Homeless Mission: Our next D.C. Homeless mission is December 1st . Sign up on the Connect card if you are interested in going on the trip. We are in need of blue jeans (sizes 34 - 36), men's underwear (M & L), shorts, blankets, backpacks, belts, washcloths, deodorant and toothpaste (travel size). No women's or children's clothes. Food Pantry: Every Saturday 9 to 12 noon. The Pantry is low on these staples: cereal, canned tuna, and peanut butter. Please leave your donated items in the box in the Narthex. URGENT NEED for volunteers to pick up donated food at local grocery stores. We need permanent and substitute volunteers.
