Trunk or Treat - The community is invited to our family friendly, Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat to enjoy a free, fun, and safe Halloween celebration. Due to COVID this event will look a lot different this year. The evening will feature our parking lot full of decorated cars with lots of candy available in individually packed bags. If you participate you will travel through our parking lot, drive-thru style to pick up candy from your vehicle.
Here are our COVID guidelines to protect everyone:
-All participants must wear masks.
-All participants must remain in vehicle at all times.
-If you or anyone plan to attend and feel sick, stay home.
-Candy will be prepackaged in individual bags for each child to collect at each vehicle. Each bag will then be handed to participants on a tray for a no contact experience.
Please note that while our goal is to give out peanut free candy, some may still contain peanut products or be manufactured in a facility that produces peanut products. Please check candy before giving to your child if they have allergies.
If you are part of our St. Thomas church family, we would love for you to participate to make this event happen. Please click on the link below to sign up for a volunteer role today!

Meals for First Responders - Buy a Tuesday night dinner for $6.00 and donate a meal for our first responders during this trying time. You can either tell them to keep the change or make an outright donation. Any amount will be great. Your Missions Committee has already put in $300. This is one way to show our appreciation. We are encouraging you to take a few minutes to write a card of encouragement to include with our "Keep the Change" ministry for first responders. This is a great hands-on mission project for all ages. Write a card as a way to lift the spirits of our first responders during these difficult times. Then, bring your cards on Tuesday when you pick up dinner or drop off during the week! We'll do the rest.
New Communications Form -The Comuncations committee has created a Communications Request Form, accessible through the website, that is a one-stop shop for submitting a request for announcements in newsletters, on Facebook, in the weekly bulletins and more. This allows the same information to be shared in multiple places and saves you from having to alert multiple staff and lay leaders. This form is available at : http://stthomasumc.org/resources/communications-request.html.
