The Memorial Garden and Columbarium at St. Thomas UMC is a place where the cremated remains of church members an other eligible persons are housed, memorialized and safeguarded on the grounds of the church.

Schedule of Fees

Effective date: May 2018

Right of Inurnment for two urns for two eligible persons: includes two openings and closings of the niche, pastoral prayer, and engraving of the niche door: $3750 of which $2700 is tax-deductible

Right of Inurnment for two urns of one eligible person and one non-eligible person; includes two openings and closings of the niche, pastoral prayer, and engraving of the niche door: $4750 of which is tax-deductible.

Right of Inurnment for two urns for non-eligible persons: includes two openings and closings of the niche, pastoral prayer, and engraving of the niche door: $5750 of which $4700 tax-deductible

Re-inscription of Niche Door: One name $300, two names $500

Urn: $200

Pastor’s fee for Inurnment Service: None

Opening and Closing above that allotted in the Memorial Garden and Columbarium Rules: $100

Removal and Restoration of niche door: $750

Memorial brick: $125 standard size, $250 double size – all tax-deductible

Memorial bench: $1200 --- all tax-deductible

Note: Fees are subject to revision at any time by the Church
